Important Notice to all our patients!

LET'S KEEP UP COVID-19 TESTING !
Since the peak of the pandemic where our doctors were seeing and testing about 50 patients a day between Selby , Kallista and Monbulk, we are  now testing less but please see us if you have any flu like symptoms or are uncertain.
Our community has done so well, lets all do our part to not go back to where we were and ensure any virus spread gets picked up early.   This will help ourselves and others.

We are still open for business but it is not quite business as usual.

We are open but our waiting room is empty. Book on "Hotdoc" (the green button above) or phone us for an appointment with your doctor by telehealth or in person.
For patients who need to be seen at the Clinic, please call us upon arrival, answer our screening questions and wait in your car.   You must wear a mask to be allowed to enter the clinic.
Your Doctor will call you on your mobile phone to keep
face to face time to a minimum and reduce spread from someone who may have no symptoms of infection.  You will then be directed inside where you will need a temperature check and to sanitise your hands.
When you arrive If you have no mobile phone, please knock on the door and a staff member  will come to you, as you may not enter the clinic until checked.

Telehealth consults will incur a private fee equivalent to a face to face consultation unless you are eligible to be bulk billed in line with our Billing Policy or after discussion with your Doctor.

All of our patients with a fever, cough, runny nose, or flu like symptoms will be seen and offered a COVID-19 test in our separate isolation tent by the doctor rostered for that day.  Please do not enter the clinic but telephone reception upon arrival for further instructions.

Please phone the clinic on 9755 1990 or you can book a Telehealth consultation online.
Please do not attend the clinic unless by prior arrangement.
Thank you for your support.

On Wednesday, 8th August 2018 Monbulk Family Clinic and Kallista Medical Centre underwent Accreditation against the RACGP 5th Edition standards for General Practice.
Being accredited means that our general practice is committed to a comprehensive program which    involves:
  • Engaging our whole practice team to review our practice’s systems and processes
  • Opening our practice doors to allow a team of independent surveyors to assess how our practice operates
  • Assessment of our practice, and achievement of the nationally recognised Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards for general practices, that focus on health care quality and patient safety.
As a member of the community you may be surprised to learn that general practice accreditation is a voluntary process – which means not all practices undergo an independent on-site assessment on a regular basis.
Achievement of AGPAL accreditation reassures you that our doctors and practice team are committed to providing you with high quality health care in a safe environment.
We are all very proud to have been accredited again for the next 3 years.
