WELCOME TO KALLISTA MEDICAL CENTRE

Kallista Medical Centre is the oldest and smallest General Practice in 'The Hills', located in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. We view ourselves as a traditional practice supported by our sister clinics, Selby Family Clinic and Monbulk Family Clinic. Here at Kallista Medical Centre we are proud to be at this location for over 35 years and continue to offer quality General Practice doctors to the Dandenong Ranges where our primary focus is patient care.


Our practice is a service entity to support Independent General Practitioners, and Dr John Gruner is the practice principle. We recruit and employ high quality nursing and administrative staff to support each doctor in providing quality care to their patients. We also employ registrars and support them with their training towards General Practitioner specialisation.

Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday: Appointments available at our sister clinics (Monbulk Family Clinic and Selby Family Clinic).
Sunday: Closed

NEW GENERATOR
We’re incredibly thankful to AusNet for awarding us an Energy Resilience Community Fund grant. This has allowed us to buy a new backup generator to continue medical care during power outages. Thank you!
ISOLATION CLINIC
We are still running our Isolation Clinic for any patients experiencing symptoms that may be contagious (sore throat, runny nose, cough, fever, gastro). This enables you to continue getting the treatment you require whilst keeping our doctors and other patients safe.
BULK BILLING
From November 1st 2025, the doctors consulting at Kallista Medical Centre have decided to trial routinely Bulk Billing all patients for consultation items that attract the new government incentive. Private fees will still apply for some services such as procedures.
